Raritan Bay Medical Center 2009 Art Show
What a glorious night. My daughters, Anona, Anieka & Kelly were able to attend, along with my husband, Paul.
It was another wonderful opening night for the Inspirations Artshow, so many of the same artist from last years event. The food which was catered, was scrumptious. The jazz music waifed through the concorde, giving a festive spirit to the event.
I was pleasantly surprised when Michael Booze and his wife, purchased my "Spicy Martini I" painting. It's ironic that this painting would sell first, because it was the last piece I thought about bringing to this art exhibit.

"Spicy Martini I"
Michael Booze is the son of the honoree that evening, Barbara Booze, who I was told she and her late husband were involved with the rehabilitation of the water front of Perth Amboy, and were strongly involved with the culture and visual arts.
Barbara Booze's husband was a famous local photographer. Some of his pictures were exhibited this evening.
Again, being part of this event means so much to me. It gives me such pleasure to be able to share my art with the others, and knowing that the funds benefit the Wilentz Cancer Center, Pertha Amboy, New Jersey.
